In a contest that is tied to the release of the new Friday the 13th film on February 13, Microsoft is giving away a package of prizes for 13 consecutive days starting February 1. The list of daily prizes includes a Samsung 40" 1080p LCD HDTV, Xbox 360 Wireless Red Controller, bronze Marcus Fenix statue from Mindzeye Studios, a life-size Locust drone from Triforce Sales, the Gears of War 2 soundtrack, the Gears 2 novel, golden Hammerburst and Lancer codes (score!), and a Gears of War 2 poster signed by the development team at Epic Games. All of those prizes will be given away each of the thirteen days and are worth more than $25,000.
